Effective communication and education are critical components of successful retirement planning and retirement plan administration. To help you address this need ICMA-RC offers Plan Sponsors a complementary, strategic, and comprehensive education program.

Through our Educational Services we communicate on your behalf with participants through group meetings, individual consultations, financial planning workshops, publications, and award-winning technology. ICMA-RC’s Participant Education goal is to provide education in a disciplined and effective manner regardless of the communication medium (i.e. direct mail, in-person, via phone, online). Every ICMA-RC education interaction with a participant provides:

• Relevant information for the individual — ICMA-RC education is based on the participant’s retirement goals both pre and post-retirement. In addition, our education takes into account the individual’s preferred learning style and financial experience.
• Straightforward information — The information we provide is straightforward, meaningful, and easy-to-use.
• Consistent — Whether the participant speaks to someone on the phone, talks to a field representative in person, or receives something in the mail — we are consistent. All interactions are similar in feel and design to increase understanding and use. With ICMA-RC’s Educational Services the participant feels comfortable and secure in taking action to meet their retirement goals.
• Measurable objectives — Our educational objectives are evaluated and adjusted with you to provide ongoing effective education to participants.
